- Review readings from previous week.
- Read all of the linked materials from the HathiTrust Research Center “Text as Data” page. This will give you a general introduction to a massive collection of textual data. Then, read through the examples and use cases links. You should be able to present at least one example of a research project performed with HathiTrust data.

Notebook Activity:
- Work with your group to finish your in-class activity from Week 6: Collection, Selection and Evaluation of Data
- We will begin the week with 15 minutes time to work as a group. Then we will jump into talking about the datasets.

Suggested: For those students in the M.S. in Data Analysis and Visualization program, you may want to familiarize yourself with the Hadley Wickham article “Tidy Data,” which is what the R package of the same name is based upon. This article can be found in the group library.
